One of the aspects of animal behavior widely studied now is the question of the different sensory systems contribution in the environmental information processing. The special importance of olfactory signals in the behavioral integrity in the most animal species and particularly in rodents is widely recognized. Taking this into account, it is necessary to analyze the role of olfaction in investigatory and emotional behavior in animals. The non-invasive destruction of olfactory reception could impair (or drastically change) animal behavior. Male two inbred mice (Ñ57BL/6J and ÑÂÀ) and their hybrids F1 were used. The oil solution of 3-methyl-indole (220 mg/kg, i/p) was used as model for infringement of functioning of olfactory system. In order to analyze the investigatory behavior the standard test open-field. Research interlinear distinctions genotype-dependent behavior control mice were revealed. It was show higher locomotion and investigatory activity C57BL/6J control mice in comparison with animals of line ÑÂÀ and hybrids. Anosmia, induces 3-methyl-indole, changes genotype-dependent behavior C57BL/6J and ÑÂÀ mice. A direction change the open-field behavior of animals

-anosmic is various. Locomotion and investigatory activity was reduced in C57BL/6J anosmic mice and increase in CBA anosmic mice. The anosmic hybrid mice do not demonstrated essential changes in the open-field behavior. The open-field behavior of hybrid mice (control and anosmic) was similar to behavior ÑÂÀ mice.
