Since 1971 Blackwell Publishing Asia has been the foremost publisher of scholarly and academic journals and books in Asia. With a publication list of more than 100 journals, the company works on behalf of and in partnership with societies, colleges, associations, and pharmaceutical companies throughout the Asian region. The business focuses on books and journals in the science, technical, medical, humanities, and social science disciplines. Publications are predominantly Australian, Chinese, Japanese, and pan-Asian originated periodicals, including some of the most prestigious science, technical and medical (STM) specialty journals in the region such as the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Surgery, Development Growth and Differentiation, and the Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
