Allowable values for the type attribute are:

| multiplechoice | There is one correct answer out of several possible answers |
| multipleanswer | There are several correct answers in the list of possible answers |
| interview | An interview between two people |
| questionanswer | There is one question with one answer |
| trueorfalse | There are only two possible answers, only one of which is true |
