Notes or footnotes, usually associated with the body text of a document.
Note: notegroup should be distinguished from footnotegroup.
notegroup contains notes associated with the body text of a document. An example of this would be notes referenced from the text of a book chapter. Notes contained in notegroup would usually be presented at the end of the document or at the foot of each page of the body text.
footnotegroup contains notes or footnotes which are usually displayed at the foot of the first page of journal articles (e.g. present addresses, correspondence information, article history information etc).
