externallink has these attributes...

The value of the external link. For example, if some text is linked to a URL, the XML would look like this:
<externallink id="http://www.blackwellpublishing.com" type="url">the Blackwell Publishing web site</externallink>

Other examples could include:

• A PubMed ID: <externallink type="pubmed" id="8698981"></externallink>
• A DOI: <externallink type="doi" id="10.1016/0020-7489(95)00065-8"></externallink>
