The document identifier.
CDATA
The status of the identifier: either live or notlive. If an identifier has to be registered (e.g. a DOI), the attribute should be set to notlive from the time the DOI is inserted in the document to the time it's registered. On registration, the attribute can be changed to live.
Allowable values for type attribute are:
