Welcome to the Ecological Methods web site. It is our intention to present up to date information and data in support of the printed book.

The site is arranged by chapters; use the left-hand menu frame to navigate throughout, and the links in the top frame to visit pages in individual chapters. You will find pictures of sampling equipment, jumps to equipment suppliers and other relevant ecological web sites, plus notes on recent papers that have been published since we wrote the third edition of the book. This site will also note corrections and errors in the text.
