001.dat - audio data file in ASCII format, case 1
002.dat - audio data file in ASCII format, case 2

004.dat - audio data file in ASCII format, case 4

The data are audio signals sampled at 44.1Hz for 20 seconds. There are 882000 observations in each .dat file, arranged in a single column. The numbers have been scaled and they are between -1 and 1, e.g. 2.3132324e-002, -1.8096924e-002.

N.B. a microphone converts air pressure (sound) to voltage and this is digitised and scaled to get the data. There is no unit of measurement.
