DATA-SET: toxo_web.txt (Tab-Delimited text file, 23 columns, first row labels)

NB The data all come from published sources. See the main text for cited references.

Columns
obs = observation number
r = number of IgG positives for seroprevalence data
n = total number in sample for seroprevalence data
r.sc = number of sero-conversions for seroconversion data
n.sc = total person-years exposure observed for seroconversion data
r.igm = number of IgM positives for IgM data
n.igm = total number at risk (IgG negatives plus IgM positives) for IgM data
region = region of seroprevalence, seroconversion or IgM data point

1 Inner London (E) 7 Midlands
2 Inner London (N) 8 South Yorkshire
3 Inner London (W) 9 Glasgow

2 1940-49 6 1980-89
3 1950-59 7 1990-present
4 1960-69

s[,a,t] = exposure in age group a and time interval t for sero-prevalence data
a=1 0-14 a=2 15+

Note the final 3 rows are non-UK paired seroconversion/IgM data

PROGRAMS: The models were fitted using WinBUGS 1.4 (see comments in individual files)

toxo_rbyt.mod is a text file with the code for Model III (regionxtime interaction)
toxo_rbyt.dat is a text file with the data in two parts, a list and an array (s)
to be read into WinBUGS
toxo_rbyt.ini is a text file containing two sets of initial values

toxo_rbyt_5077.dat is as above but excluding outliers 50 and 77
toxo_rbyt_5077.ini is as above but excluding outliers 50 and 77
