TRAFFIC.DAT is an ASCII file that contains the data for traffic accidents in the state
of Michigan.
The data are a 0.1% random sample of all reported accidents from January 1, 1979 to
December 31, 1987.
The variables are:
1. Number of accidents for the month.
2. Non institutional unemployment rate.
3. Month with 1 = Jan. 1979.
4. Spring = 1 if Spring, -1 if Winter, and 0 otherwise.
5. Summer = 1 if Summer, -1 if Winter, and 0 otherwise.
6. Fall = 1 if Fall, -1 if Winter, and 0 otherwise.
