The file 'dates.txt' (150 rows by 1 column) contains the 150 fossil
radiocarbon dates.
The file 'fossil_data.txt' (150 rows by 15 columns) contains the pollen
counts for the 14 taxa (plus total counts) in each row for 150 fossil
dates.
The file 'modern_data.txt' (7815 rows by 16 columns) contains the
GDD5 recorded value, the MTCO recorded value and the pollen counts
for the 14 taxa in each row for 7815 modern sites or locations.
In 'fossil_data.txt' and 'modern_data.txt' the pollen counts are given
for the taxa as follows; alnus, betula, corylus, pinus, quercus, ulmus,
ericales, juniperus, cyperace, salix, artchen, graminea, picea and
other.
