K. Chen: Parametric and semiparametric models
for recapture and romoval studies - a likelihood approach
Journal of the Royal Statistical Society, Applied Statistics, Sercies
B, volume 63 (2001),
part 3, pages 607-619
The file "chen.f" contains the Fortran code used to run the simulation
in the paper.
The set-up of this simulation example is presented in the paper.
The code contains mainly the data generation part, which has to be
revised if a different simulation example is considered, and five subroutines.
The purpose of each subroutine and all input/output variables used are
explained in the program. The outputs are saved in three matrices outprecap,
outpremov and outsemi. The meaning of of the entries in these matrices
can be found in the their corresponding explanations. One might choose
to write these outputs in a file and then do further analysis of these
outputs.
If one is interested in parametric analysis only, it is suggested that
one might separate parametric analysis and semiparametric analysis into
two programs, since the latter simulation takes relatively longer time
than the former.
