Applied Statistics

Anisotropic spatial sampling designs for urban pollution by
G. Arbia and G. Lafratta, Journal of the Royal Statistics Society, Series C, Applied Statistics, pages 223 - 234

The contents of file Dataset.txt are organized in sections as follows.

Section 1 contains the coordinates of 17 monitoring stations in Padua
(as showed in Figure 1). Data are reported as a tab-delimited 17-by-2
matrix: for i=1,...,17, the i-th row corresponds to the coordinates of
the monitored site indexed by i in Figure 1. Further details about the
coordinate system are included in the paper.

Section 2 reports the (tab-delimited) sample covariance matrix of SO2 concentrations at the monitored locations. The monitored sites and their order are the same as those in the coordinates matrix of Section 1.
