This is the description of the data file used in the paper.
The daily Central England temperature series is not publically available,
but it can be used for non-commercial purposes, provided that a (paper!)
licence agreement is signed. See:
http://www.badc.rl.ac.uk/data/cet/
The first five numbers are the five lowest times for women's 3000m
races in 1972, followed by the same for 1973 etc., finishing in 1992.
The final time is Wang Junxia's record in 1993: there is only one time
for that year.
