FOLDER SP01: Gauss programs for computing global influence. (Results depicted in Figure 3.)

The batch files in this folder are all labeled SP01_, followed by a single number indicating the cell on which omega is added. For instance, SP01_1.bat is the batch file for computing global influence when adding/subtracting omega to cell number 1. Each of these batch files requires the file SP01.arc, which contains the procedure for computing the log likelihood for the BRD models. SP01.arc should be located in a directory "c:\gauss\myproc" or in any other directory but the path specification in the batch file program should be changed accordingly.

FOLDER SP02: Gauss programs for computing local influence when perturbing cell probabilities. (Results depicted in Figures 6 & 7).

The file SP02.bat is the batch file for computing local influence when perturbing cell counts and evaluating the effect of the perturbation in terms of the likelihood displacement (Figure 6). This batch file requires SP01.arc, which contains the procedure for computing the log likelihood for the BRD models, and SP02.arc, which contains the procedure for computing the log likelihood for the perturbed BRD model. Both SP01.arc and SP02.arc should be located in a directory "c:\gauss\myproc" or in any other directory but the path specification in the batch file program should be changed accordingly.

The two other batch files in this folder, SP02p1.bat and SP02p2.bat, are the batch files for computing local influence when perturbing cell counts and evaluating the effect of the perturbation on the predicted cell counts (Figure 7). These batch files require SP01.arc, SP02.arc and SP03.arc, the latter contains the procedure for computing the predicted cell counts. The files SP01.arc, SP02.arc and SP03.arc should be located in a directory "c:\gauss\myproc" or in any other directory but the path specification in the batch file program should be changed accordingly.

FOLDER SP03: Gauss programs for computing local influence on the likelihood when perturbing one BRD model towards another. (Results depicted in Figure 4.)

The batch files in this folder are labeled SP03_ij, with i and j indicating the pertinent pair of BRD models. Each of the batch files in this folder require SP01.arc and SP03_ij.arc. For instance, SP03_12.bat is the program for computing local influence on the likelihood for perturbing BRD model 1 towards BRD model 2, and requires SP01.arc and SP03_12.arc, both of which should be located in a directory "c:\gauss\myproc" or in any other directory but the path specification in the batch file program should be changed accordingly. The file SP03_ij.arc contains the procedure for computing the log likelihood when perturbing BRD model i towards BRD model j.

FOLDER SP04: Gauss programs for computing local influence on the predicted cell counts when perturbing one BRD model towards another. (Results depicted in Figure 5.)

The files in this folder are labeled SP04_ij, with i and j indicating the pertinent pair of BRD models. Each of the batch files in this folder require SP01.arc, SP03.arc and SP03_ij.arc. For instance, SP04_12.bat is the program for computing local influence on the predicted cell counts for perturbing BRD model 1 towards BRD model 2, and requires SP01.arc, SP03.arc and SP03_12.arc, which should all be located in a directory "c:\gauss\myproc" or in any other directory but the path specification in the batch file program should be changed accordingly. The file SP03_ij.arc contains the procedure for computing the log likelihood when perturbing BRD model i towards BRD model j.

The raw data counts for the Slovenian Public Opinion Survey (questions 1 and 3) are incorporated within the programs.
