Singapore - An Ideal Offshore Location

We carried out an in depth evaluation on the suitability of six countries for an offshore printing and distribution location. Singapore, India, China, Malaysia, the Czech Republic, and Brazil. Four areas were evaluated cost, business environment, people and geographic location. In addition, an assessment of the risk of moving to each of these locations was made.

Singapore emerged the winner as an obvious choice for an offshore presence, as the city state is widely known as the intelligent island of the East. Singapore offers a well-established infrastructure, a business-friendly government and good communications. Other significant factors are its stable economy, low risk business environment, highly educated and technologically skilled workforce, not to mention its strategic geographical location as an international hub. More importantly, Singapore is the most Intellectually Property Protected country in Asia (voted by the WEF)

Established Printing Industry: The printing industry in Singapore is long-established, highly successful and at the forefront of quality and service driven technology. In 2005 the printing industry in Singapore generated revenue of 2,776.6 million SGD (Singapore Dollars). We believe that Singapore's world-renowned printing industry, combined with its excellent position and transport links, make it the perfect location from which to print and distribute our material.
