Every important amendment made to this regularly updated text after the latest edition went to press can be found on this web site.  Those who avail themselves of the PDA version of the text hosted by Skyscape also have access to a regularly updated version of the text.

Readers should note, however, that the contact details for the Medicines Information Pharmacists printed on the back of the title page of the latest edition are no longer correct and, with current staffing levels, the unit in Newcastle is no longer able to offer a general advisory service.

In addition, while the currently quoted e-mail address will continue to function for some time yet, the unit's new e-mail address is now drug.information@nuth.nhs.uk.

Comments on the current content of the Formulary, and requests for general advice, can still be passed to the editorial team by using this e-mail address.

The editorial team also remain anxious to have all possible errors, or important omissions from the text, drawn to their attention in the same way.
