We offer a choice of licensing options for libraries, multi-site institutions and library consortia wishing to greatly enhance their serials collections and provide their patrons with access to hundreds more journals for a fraction of the full subscription cost. Options are available for libraries preferring to maintain print and for those ready to go online only. Additional options are available for institutions which wish to share access to subscribed titles across a consortium or to commit to licensing journals over a multi-year period.
The most popular option available is where libraries license access to one or more of Blackwell's Collections of online journals annually, with online access to a fixed list of titles provided for a fixed top-up fee with libraries maintaining their existing subscriptions, in print or online formats.
Licensing Blackwell's Collection of journals provides excellent value with typically high usage and low cost per use. Blackwell's Collection licensing terms provide access to additional journals not just for the period of the license, but in perpetuity, where Blackwell has society consents to grant such rights.
