Linnæus Tercentenary in 2007
Join Zoologica Scripta in celebrating The Tercentenary of Carl Linnæus. The most renowned Swedish botanist, zoologist and physician, Linnæus is widely regarded as the father of modern taxonomy. The ceremonial opening of Linnæus' Tercentenary year will take place on 28 January in Växjö, and many activities have been planned to follow in Uppsala, London, and other locations around Sweden and the world.
