Child: care, health and development is an international, peer-reviewed journal which publishes papers dealing with all aspects of the health and development of children and young people. We publish quantitative and qualitative research papers relevant to people from all disciplines working in child health and child development. We aim to provide a forum for discussion of global child health issues and are happy to publish both primary research and systematic reviews. 

We welcome submissions concerned with:

• The health of children and young people
• Physical, psychomotor, emotional and social development
• Social and environmental factors, including the family, affecting health and development
• Evaluation of specific interventions for children

Reviews Editor for CCH
We are pleased to announced that Dr Lindsay Pennington is the new Reviews Editor for Child: Care, Health and Development.
To help researchers and clinicians keep abreast of developments, the Editor wishes to encourage the submission of reviews of evidence of the effectiveness of interventions to Child: Care, Health and Development. In addition, the Editor  welcomes systematic reviews of the evidence relating to 'accepted opinion', or of issues in measurement of key concept in child health and development.
Submissions of reviews should be made in the usual way through the journal website (http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/cch) and will be managed through the journal's peer review process.
