Applied Psychology: An International Review
is a forum for the scholarly exchange of applied psychology research findings. It has multinational contributors and covers a diversified range of the most important applied psychology fields. Particularly invited are articles that advance understanding of psychological processes across a range of applied phenomena and studies that examine the effects of different national and cultural contexts.  Review papers that stimulate debate and discussion are also encouraged.

Announcing the New IAAP Journal - Applied Psychology: Health and Well-Being

The International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP) in conjunction with the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA) and Wiley-Blackwell are launching a new journal, Applied Psychology: Health and Well-Being (AP:HWB).

The mission of this new journal is to provide readers with outstanding articles that present, from an international perspective, the latest data and best practices in the application of psychology to the promotion of well-being and optimal functioning. The keyword "well-being" has been linked to only 20 journal articles in the year 1999, but to 300 articles in 2006. Such a steep increase in publications on this emerging topic underscores the need for a suitable outlet for research.

Edited by Ralf Schwarzer and Christopher Peterson, Applied Psychology: Health and Well-Being will commence publication with Volume 1, Issue 1 in March 2009.  A preview issue of Applied Psychology: Health and Well-Being has been published as a supplement to Applied Psychology: An International Review (Volume 57, Supplement 1, July 2008).  This supplement is freely available online, please click here to read it today!
