How to write a successful paper for the International Journal of Paediatric Dentistry

During the IAPD congress in Hong Kong, June 2007, the editors of IJPD, Göran Dahllöf, Göran Koch and Helen Rodd arranged a seminar with the title: How to write a successful paper for the International Journal of Paediatric Dentistry. The goals of this seminar was to inform about the publishing policy of IJPD and to give potential contributors advice on how to write high quality papers. The seminar comprised three parts, how to write a successful paper, the case report and the review process.

On this web page we have made it possible to see the presentations from the seminar, with our personal advice to potential contributors. One of the conclusions from the seminar was that the IJPD invite also junior faculty to write structured reviews for the journal. Svante Twetman has contributed with recommendations on how to write a structured review.

I would welcome any thoughts and suggestions on the matters discussed.
