NIH-funded authors and G2B All articles free after 2 years: Note on New/Young Journals and the Blackwell Collection Articles published online ahead of print
From April 2008, the NIH is mandating grant-holders to deposit their published papers in PubMed Central within 12 months of publication. G2B complies with the NIH mandate in allowing authors to post the accepted version of their article i.e. the version incorporating any amendments made during peer review, 12 months after publication (please see the 'After acceptance' bullet points on page 1 of the exclusive license form for full details). In doing so authors will be meeting the terms of their grant (http://publicaccess.nih.gov/FAQ.htm#general).
As an alternative, NIH-funded authors may use the Online Open service (http://www.blackwellpublishing.com/static/onlineopen.asp). This service grants free and immediate availability of the article on publication, and deposition of the final pdf version with PubMed Central.
All articles published in Genes, Brain & Behavior are made free content 2 years from issue publication in online.
New/Young journals, including Genes, Brains and Behavior are not included in the Blackwell Publishing Collection. Institutions wishing to access content in these titles must take out a subscription. Please contact your Wiley-Blackwell Publishing Sales Representative or your usual subscription agent. Click here for current subscription rates.
Articles which have been fully copy-edited and peer-reviewed are published online through our OnlineEarly feature before the print edition of this journal is published.
