New: Author Services Release 2!
We are pleased to announce a major enhancement to Author Services. Some of the new features and author benefits you may now enjoy include:
- New E-mail Login! You can now log in using the e-mail address with which you registered. Please note that this is not the same username/password combination used for online submission of your manuscript to the editorial office for peer-review. If you have forgotten your log-in details for Author Services, please click on the ‘Forgotten Password’ link or e-mail the helpdesk (e-help@blackwellpublishing.com) for assistance.
- Co-authors may now track the production progress of your articles, choose to receive e-mails at key stages and get free online access to your article when it publishes online.
- We are happy to offer you perpetual online access to the PDF versions of your article. The PDF is considered to be your e-Offprint previously supplied by the typesetter.
- You may now also nominate up to ten colleagues to be notified upon publication and receive FREE ONLINE ACCESS to your article. We believe this will help to drive readership and citations of your articles and save you time as well.
- E-mail the journal Production Editor – you now have the option to e-mail the Production Editor of the journal via an easy link on the ‘My Publications’ Page. The journal code and article number along with the article title are automatically added to the subject line of the e-mail for your convenience.
- Keep a list of all your favorite journals. These include links to journal Author Guidelines and online submission websites. Journals in which you have tracked production of an article will automatically appear in Favorites.
- An on-screen warning will show if your signed License or Copyright form has not yet been received; the warning will only appear from Stage 3. If you are certain you have submitted your signed form, please contact the Production Editor using the new link.
- For journals with printed offprints, you will see a link from Stages 3-6, enabling you to link out to the printer website to order printed offprints. Additional journals will be added to this service over time.
- You will be able to view the Production History of your articles.
- You can move published articles to an Archive to tidy your production-tracking view. This is useful for authors who have a number of articles.
