Richter's syndrome Blood film in Richter's syndrome. Richter's syndrome is a transformation of chronic lymphocytic leukaemia into high grade lymphoma. It usually occurs in a lymph node or other tissue but spread to the blood and bone marrow can then occur. This film shows two large lymphoma cells and numerous residual small lymphocytes. |
