Applied Statistics

A mixture model to assess the effect of hormonal stimulation on the development of follicles in prepubertal heifers by P. Lambert
Journal of the Royal Statistics Society, Series C, Applied Statistics, Volume 51 (2002), Part 4, pages 405 - 420

The dataset file gives the diameters of the follicles detected on each of the 2 ovaries of 14 heifers over a 23 days period. They were stimulated using FSH (i.e. follicle stimulating hormone) at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on days 16, 17 and 18.
