Denoising radiocommunications signals by using iterative
wavelet shrinkage by P. D. Baxter and G. J. G.Upton
Journal of the Royal Statistics Society, Series C, Applied
Statistics, Volume 51 (2002), Part 4, pages 393 - 403
The files Feb0500.dat.zip
and Feb1000.dat.zip are
zipped ascii data files.
The data are the signal strengths of a 23km microwave link, measured
as attenuation in units of decibels (x10). The data files each contain
a day's measurements, one observation recorded each second, a total
of 86400 observations.
Each data file contains four columns. The first refers to the signal
strengths of a 12.8 GHz microwave link, the second refers to the signal
strengths of a 17.6 GHz microwave.
The third column is the difference of the first two, and is not of
interest in this context. The fourth column is a quality variable. Observations
assigned qualities other than 0 should be ignored.
