2008 FMA European Conference
The Thirteenth Annual FMA European Conference will be held June 4 - 6, 2008 at the Prague Hilton Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic.
The FMA European Conference brings together academicians and practitioners with interests in financial decision-making. The meeting provides a forum for presenting new research and discussing current issues in financial management, investments, financial markets and institutions, and related topics. Keynote addresses and other special presentations will be held in addition to research paper presentations.

Fifth Annual Napa Conference on Financial Markets Research
Napa Valley, California
We seek high-quality papers from scholars in the fields of finance and accounting for the Fifth Annual Napa Conference on Financial Markets Research, co-hosted by the UC Davis Graduate School of Management and Financial Management, the journal of the Financial Management Association (FMA). This is a small, high-quality, conference held in the heart of Napa Valley's wine country at the Cakebread Winery.
In addition to consuming high-quality research, conference participants consume outstanding wine and cuisine in the bucolic Napa Valley. There are hosted dinners on Friday and Saturday at superb Napa Valley restaurants and a luncheon prepared by the chef at Cakebread Winery on Saturday. Following the conference on Saturday, there is a hosted wine tasting at the Cakebread winery.
Six papers will be selected for the program. Conference organizers will pay for all presenter travel expenses.
Criteria used to select papers for the program include the nature of the research problem, implications of the proposed research, the quality of the research design, and the expected contribution of the research to the literature.

The Thirty-Eighth Annual FMA Annual Meeting will be held October 8 - 11, 2008 at the Gaylord Texan Hotel in Grapevine (Dallas), Texas. FMA's Annual Meeting brings together academicians and practitioners with interests in financial decision-making. The meeting provides a forum for presenting new research and discussing current issues in financial management, investments, financial markets and institutions, and related topics. The Doctoral Student Seminar, roundtables, and Keynote Address are held Wednesday.
